Our objective is to educate teachers
who consistently reflect on themselves and their actions,
who support their students throughout their learning and educational processes, who help to shape schools in a productive way, thus assuming responsibility for the ongoing development of society,
who have engaged in-depth with the competence requirements of teachers from the point of view of their disciplines, subject didactics as well as educational science and who integrate these perspectives into their professional practice,
who take a professional approach to integrating research-based knowledge, practice-relevant competences and practical experience acquired during their studies when it comes to pedagogical decisions and activities in their everyday practice,
who are aware of the various dimensions of social diversity and who deal with heterogeneity in a motivated as well as constructive manner,
who have developed a critical and reflective perspective towards the challenges of digitalisation and who use it as a basis to act professionally in everyday school and classroom situations,
who are aware of their role as advisors to students and the students’ legal guardians and who fulfil this role with a sense of responsibility,
who understand themselves to be lifelong learners and who thus do their part to preserve elements that have been tried and tested, in addition to tackling new challenges in the spirit of an innovative and sustainable school.
